What We Provide

An Invaluable Resource
The historically high turnover among “Cuba Watchers,” bureaucratic rivalries, naivety, and ignorance of the Cuban national security structure makes the US and other nations vulnerable to exploitation and manipulation by Cuban Intelligence. Public and private sector employees alike lack the experience, training, and language skills required to for an intimate understanding of this intelligence threat.  Additionally, most governments are over reliant on classified information with little familiarity in the systematic exploitation of public sources that the CIRC uses to conduct research and obtain new and relevant information critical to success in better understanding Cuban foreign and domestic policy decisions.

Thorough Methodology and Unique Access
The CIRC is a private company that provides state-of-the-art intelligence for those in need of an increased understanding of the Cuban government. We are successful due to our continuous and exhaustive examination of public records, the international media, declassified government documents, and the Internet.  Furthermore, the debriefing and consultation with former Cuban Intelligence officers and agents, as well as a wide range of governmental and non-governmental contacts, also contribute significantly to the CIRC’s success.

Rapidly Growing Track Record/Credibility
The CIRC routinely provides unique and insightful information in its dealings with the US and international media, academia, think tanks, the US government, and other organizations. We provide our clients and other interested parties with comprehensive and well-documented assessments of the Cuban Intelligence Services and their personnel. This allows our clients a clearer understanding of the pervasive influence of these services in the Cuban economy and their central role in domestic and foreign affairs.

Educational Mission
The CIRC is guided by our Founder’s principle that one must know Cuban Intelligence before an understanding of Havana’s foreign and domestic policies is possible. In addition to its work with the media and public and private sectors, the CIRC seeks to educate the general public about the history, central role, missions, staffing, and tactics of Cuban Intelligence. Additionally, the CIRC staff provides frequent interviews and information to major media outlets. Our innumerable media cites/appearances include CNN, NBC, FOX, Telemundo, EFE, AFP, UPI, AP, Notimex, Univision (radio & television), the Christian Science Monitor, the Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald, Diario Las Americas, the Washington Times, the Gulf Times (Qatar), the Taipei Times (Taiwan), Front Page magazine, TV Ontario, TeleMiami, Radio Caracol, TV & Radio Marti, WSKY News Talk, and the Miami-based news program, A Mano Limpia.

Experienced and Dedicated Staff
The CIRC staff is comprised of a unique team of experienced professionals. The Founder is a career US Counterintelligence officer who is assisted by former Cuban Intelligence officers and key associates. Our staff is intimately familiar with the manning, funding, intelligence trafficking, front companies, terrorist connections, methodology, and targets of Havana’s five services. When it comes to information regarding Cuban national security issues, you will not find more talented professionals than the staff of the Cuban Intelligence Research Center.
